FAQ: Textile MES, Warp-Break Detection and PP Bulk-Bag MES

16 frequently asked questions about machine compatibility, installation, customization, demo access, after-sales service and overseas deployment. Need more? Contact our sales team or use the smart assistant at the bottom-right.

1. Which machine types does the textile MES support?

We support weaving (water-jet, air-jet and rapier looms), circular weaving (PP bulk bags / woven sacks), garment sewing lines (integrated with mainstream machines including JUKI, SOMAX and ILGAR), plus cotton spinning, dyeing and home-textile equipment. Exact model compatibility is confirmed against the factory equipment list during a pre-sales site survey.

2. Is the warp-break detection device difficult to install? Do looms need modification?

No mechanical modification of the loom and no replacement of the existing drop-wire system are required. The contactless light-beam unit and edge acquisition box are mounted on the loom beam; installation and calibration of one machine is usually completed within a single shift without stopping production. Factory-wide rollout is scheduled in batches by machine count.

3. Can the system be customized? How is custom development priced?

Yes. Process routing, production reporting forms, piece-rate rules and QC standards can be customized; APIs and custom development are available under an NDA. Custom work is quoted per project after requirement review. Updates of the standard modules are included in the maintenance service at no extra charge.

4. How do I access the demo? Is the data real?

Click any “Book a Demo” button on the website to open the online demo (https://demo.zhisuozk.cn/?demo=1) — no registration required. The demo uses fully anonymized sample data for functional evaluation only. For a remote walk-through based on your factory scenarios, contact our sales team.

5. How is after-sales service provided? Can it be deployed overseas?

After-sales support combines remote assistance and on-site service, including incident response, periodic inspections and version upgrades. Overseas deployment is already supported (for example projects in Uzbekistan); the interface supports Russian, Uzbek, English, Arabic and other languages with local time zones. Overseas service terms are contracted per project.

7. Which equipment does the PP bulk-bag MES support?

For the plastic-woven industry it covers tape drawing, circular weaving, lamination (coating), color printing, cutting and sewing. Warp/tape-break signals from circular looms are ingested, with piece-rate wages, barcode inventory and batch traceability for bulk bags, woven sacks and FIBC products.

8. Is data deployed on-premise or in the cloud? How is data security ensured?

Three options are supported: on-premise private deployment, enterprise intranet servers, or cloud servers, chosen according to the customer’s IT policy. Data belongs to the customer, with encrypted transmission, role-based access and full audit logging of key operations. Shop-floor acquisition and warp-break detection keep working offline and sync automatically after the network is restored.

9. Which languages are supported? Russian, Uzbek and Arabic?

The interface supports 11 languages: Simplified Chinese, English, Russian, Kazakh, Uzbek, Japanese, French, Vietnamese, Malay, Indonesian and Arabic. The Arabic interface supports right-to-left (RTL) layout, and additional languages can be added per project.

10. How long does implementation take? What are the payment milestones?

Implementation follows requirement survey, solution confirmation, deployment, training, trial run and acceptance. The schedule depends on machine count, module scope and customization volume, and a written schedule is provided after the survey. Payments follow contract milestones (typically advance, delivery/go-live, acceptance and retention); exact ratios and periods are defined in the commercial contract.

11. Can it integrate with our existing ERP (Yonyou, Kingdee, SAP, etc.)?

Yes. Standard APIs and database staging tables/views are provided for bidirectional synchronization of sales orders, material master data, inventory movements and settlement data with leading ERP systems such as Yonyou, Kingdee and SAP. Field mapping and implementation are confirmed jointly by both IT teams.

12. Who supplies tablets, barcode scanners and label printers?

The warp-break detection devices and edge acquisition hardware are developed and supplied by us. Workstation tablets, scanners, label printers and dashboards are best purchased from our compatibility list; customers may also supply their own specified models, and we complete compatibility testing before go-live.

13. What is the false-alarm rate? How are missed detections handled?

Published specifications: response time ≤ 0.3 ms, detection accuracy ≥ 99%, false-judgment rate below 1.5% in typical scenarios, compatible with mainstream water-jet and air-jet looms. Sensitivity is calibrated per fabric type and process parameters, and all events are logged. In case of a suspected missed detection, logs can be reviewed remotely and parameters adjusted online.

14. What does the annual maintenance contract (AMC) include? How much does it cost?

The AMC typically includes remote technical support, standard software version upgrades, incident response and periodic inspections, with optional on-site engineers and spare-parts packages. Pricing is tiered by machine/user count and service level (business-hours or 7×24 response). Contact our sales team for a formal proposal.

15. What customer cases exist? Can a factory visit be arranged?

The Cases page publishes anonymized deployment data (typical scenarios such as 500 water-jet looms, 200 air-jet looms and 80 circular looms); customer names are protected under confidentiality agreements. Visits to comparable factories can be arranged near your region and industry, subject to the host customer’s consent.
